Listen for the “laser beam” song in the morning. “Zooo-Zooo-Zooo-Ze-Ze-Ze-Ze-Ze” or a popping “uhh-weit, uhh weit, uhh weit”. Very loud and piercing, possible confusion with the Carolina wren.
